Saving our Species is the NSW Government’s flagship threatened species conservation program. It delivers targeted conservation actions to secure threatened plants and animals across the state, using a science-based approach and strong partnerships with land managers, researchers and the community.
Through Saving our Species, the NSW Government is supporting the protection of threatened shorebirds and their habitats, including important nesting, foraging and feeding sites along the NSW coast. This includes working with local communities, volunteers and partner organisations to manage threats, protect important shorebird areas, and improve long-term outcomes for shorebirds.
