Through active partnerships and targeted environmental initiatives, NCIG is focused on increasing the habitat value of the freshwater and tidal wetlands adjacent to the terminal, including areas connected to the internationally recognised Hunter Estuary Wetlands Ramsar site and the Kooragang Nature Reserve.
